Galloway, NJ: The Stockton University men's soccer team defeated Ramapo College today in NJAC action, 2-0. The Ospreys move to 9-4-3 overall and 4-1-1 in the NJAC while the Roadrunners now stand at 9-5-1 overall and 2-4 in the league.
Stockton scored two goals late in the second half to get on the board. Ernst Louisius tallied his ninth goal of the season off an assist from Aidan Pereira in the 68th minute (67:18) to break a 0-0 tie. William Lynch extended the Osprey lead with a goal in the 72nd minute (71:28) as Christian Pereira earned the assist.
Stockton held an 18-2 advantage in shots in the game while they also earned four corner kicks to Ramapo's one. Kyle Birmingham did not face a shot on goal in the game for Stockton in the net while
Zachary Natt collected eight saves for the Roadrunners.
Ramapo returns to action on Wednesday, Oct. 21st when they host #20 Montclair State University at 7:00 PM.
