Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team earned their first win of the 2025 season as they defeated Drew University tonight, 3-0 (25-18, 25-22, 25-22). The Roadrunners move to 1-3 overall while the Rangers now stand at 0-6 overall.
The Roadrunners were led by
Brady Cascone who tallied ten kills and seven digs in the match.
Reece Kirchofer posted nine kills and five digs while
Josh Barrett contributed with five kills as he hit .556 in the match.
JoJo Meyer dished out a team high 22 assists while posting four digs. On defense,
Ryan Westrich led the way with 12 digs while adding two assists and one ace. Ramapo tallied 32 kills in the match on 99 attempts and 18 errors.
For the Rangers, Ephraim Smith led the way with nine kills and two aces. Matthew Adegbite added six kills while Andrew DuHaime posted five. Huriel Perez posted a team high 11 assists while Gavin Cantada added nine digs. The team collected 23 kills in the match on 103 attempts with 20 errors.
The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, February 1st when they host Bard College and Eastern University in a non-conference tri-match. Ramapo will take on Bard at 11am and Eastern at 3pm. The Bard/Eastern match is set to begin at 1pm.
