Mahwah, NJ:  The Ramapo College men's volleyball team defeated Purchase College, 3-1 (25-13, 23-25, 25-21, 25-17) in the first round of the ECAC Tournament. The #4 Roadrunners improve to 19-11 overall while the #5 Panthers wrap up the season at 17-15 overall.
 
Ramapo advances to the ECAC semifinals against #1 New Jersey City University at host Rutgers-Newark University on Saturday, April 20th at 3:00 PM. The two semifinal winners will play in the Championship match at 7:00 PM.
 
The Roadrunners hit .250 in the match with 62 kills on 152 attempts with 24 errors. 
Reece Kirchofer led the way with 20 kills while he added 13 digs . 
Nick Lisi posted 18 kills and seven digs while 
Amari Menter posted eight kills and ten digs and 
Caleb Ford put down seven kills and four blocks (three solo). 
Jon Zawada led the team on defense with 18 digs while he added three assists. 
JoJo Meyer dished out a season high 51 assists while he added 12 digs, three blocks (one solo), three kills and one ace. 
Brendan Edwards recorded six kills, three solo blocks and two assists along with three digs and one ace.
 
Purchase was led by Channing Williams with ten kills while he added six blocks, ten digs and three assists. Nate Matthie posted eight kills and 11 digs while Tyler Ryan led the way with 22 digs. Aidan Araza dished out a team high 17 assists while he posted two digs. The team tallied 29 kills on 127 attempts with 22 errors.
