RAMAPO SPLITS A PAIR OF SKYLINE MATCHES ON THE ROAD

Patchogue, NY:  The Ramapo College men's volleyball team split a pair of Skyline Conference matches today as they moved to 9-5 overall and 6-1 in the Skyline. The Roadrunners defeated Sarah Lawrence College, 3-0 (25-15, 25-21, 25-18) while Saint Joseph's University Long Island handed Ramapo their first conference loss of the season. The Golden Eagles won 3-0 (25-13, 25-17, 25-19).

The Roadrunners hit .347 in the match with 46 kills on 95 attempts and just 13 errors. Josh Barrett posted seven kills to lead the team while he added four aces and two digs. Reece Kirchofer and Gabriel Azevedo each collected six kills while Caleb Ford posted five kills and one ace. Joseph Duca tallied 20 assists and five digs while JoJo Meyer posted 17 assists and two digs.
 
For the Gryphons, Nate Davis led the way with seven kills while he added two blocks and five digs. Ralph Calle-Schulz tallied three kills and four digs. Kian Silva recorded a team high 11 assists.
 
Ramapo vs. SJLI
The Golden Eagles remained undefeated in the Skyline with the win at 6-0 while it pushed their overall record to 11-4. The team hit .403 in the match with 33 kills on 72 attempts and only four errors. Mark Williams posted ten kills to lead the team while Tyler Anderson collected seven. Hank Foglia recorded six blocks and Luke MacPherson had five while Quinn Foglia added four. CJ Johnson led the way with 22 assists.
 
For the Roadrunner, Nick Lisi posted a team high 12 kills while Kirchofer and Amari Menter tallied six. Lisi added two aces and one assist while Menter posted one block and six digs. Meyer dished out a team high 25 assists while Jon Zawada collected seven digs.
 
Ramapo hosts Purchase College on Monday night at the Bradley Center at 7:00 PM.
