Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team posted a 3-0 (25-18, 25-12, 25-18) Skyline Conference victory over Purchase College tonight at the Bradley Center. The Roadrunners improve to 10-5 overall and 7-1 in the conference while the Panthers now stand at 9-7 overall and 4-1 in the conference.
Reece Kirchofer matched a career high 20 kills in tonight's match as he hit .586. Kirchofer also recorded two aces and a team high nine digs.
Brendan Edwards tallied seven kills, two aces and one dig while
Nick Lisi posted five kills, two aces and one dig.
JoJo Meyer dished out a team high 39 assists and five digs while
Jon Zawada posted eight digs on defense. Ramapo hit .425 as a team with 45 kills on 80 attempts and 11 errors.
For the Panthers, Channing Williams led the way with nine kills and three digs while Tyler Ryan added five kills, two assists and five digs. Mauricio Ramirez and Aidan Araza split the setting duties with eight and seven respectively. On defense, Nate Matthie posted six digs to lead the team.
The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, March 16th with a Skyline tri-match hosted by Manhattanville College. They will take on the University of Mount Saint Vincent at 1:00 PM and the host Valiants at 3:00 PM.
