Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team defeated Old Westbury, 3-0 (25-4, 25-19, 25-19). The Roadrunners improve to 15-6 overall, 12-2 in the Skyline while the Panthers stand at 2-17 overall and 2-12 in the conference.
The Ramapo defense held Old Westbury to just 12 kills overall while the Roadrunners recorded a .341 hitting percentage. Amaari Menter posted 13 kills in the game for Ramapo while
Nick Lisi and
Anubis Roman each tallied five.
JoJo Meyer collected 12 assists and four aces.
Joseph Duca recorded 24 assists and Menter posted eight digs while
Sean McNally and
Ryan Westrich each recorded six digs. Ramapo posted 44 kills on 91 attempts with just 13 errors.
Anthony Moyett recorded seven kills, two aces, one block and a team high ten digs for the Panthers. Konstandinos Anagnostou dished out a team high seven assists while Lorenzo Jose added eight digs.
Ramapo returns to action tomorrow afternoon when they travel to #12 ranked New York University (11-7) for a 5:00 PM match while they will take on Buffalo State (13-13) at 2:30 PM in a neutral site match.
