Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team improved to 11-1 in the Skyline Conference with a 3-0 (25-14, 25-12, 25-14) win over St. Joseph's University – Brooklyn. The Roadrunners now stand at 14-5 overall while the Bears now stand at 4-15 overall and 3-10 in the conference.
Ramapo hit .420 in the match with 40 team kills on 69 attempts with just 11 errors.
Nick Lisi led the way with 11 kills while he added two blocks.
Reece Kirchofer posted nine kills while
Brendan Edwards added four.
JoJo Meyer,
Josh Barrett and
Gabriel Azevedo each put down two aces in the match. Meyer led the team with 25 assists while
Joseph Duca collected nine. On defense, Kirchofer added a team high eight digs while Barrett and
Jon Zawada posted three each.
For the Bears, Alex Helfant collected five kills while Keiran McMullan dished out seven assists. Leonel Bravo recorded five digs and Frank Tello added four. The team recorded 15 kills on 67 attempts with 19 errors.
The Roadrunners return to action on Wednesday, March 27th with a Skyline match against St. Joseph's Long Island at 7:00PM.
