Mahwah, NJ: The Kean University men's volleyball team earned a NJAC win over Ramapo College tonight, 3-0 (25-16, 25-16, 25-22). The Cougars move to 9-9 overall and 2-0 in the NJAC while the Roadrunners stand at 4-4 overall and 0-2 in the conference.
Kean hit .291 in the match with 38 kills on 86 attempts and just 13 errors. They were led by Jack Freese who tallied nine kills while Rajheem Meulens added eight kills, two blocks and five digs. Michael Henneberry collected seven kills while Luke Frankenfield posted a team high 22 assists while Brandon Millias posted 11. On defense, Tyler Quinn posted ten digs and Frankeenfield added nine.
Ramapo collected 31 team kills in the match on 89 attempts and 18 errors.
Reece Kirchofer and
Amari Menter each put down ten kills while
Nick Lisi added eight.
Anubis Roman tallied four blocks while
Nick Lisi collected three.
JoJo Meyer collected a match high 28 assists while adding a team high ten digs and
Jon Zawada recorded two assists and seven digs.
The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday at the Bradley Center as they host St. Joseph's University – Brooklyn (11am) and Old Westbury (3pm) in a Skyline tri-match.
