Wayne, NJ: The Ramapo College men's soccer team handed NJAC rival William Paterson University their first loss of the season with a 4-3 road victory. The Roadrunners improve to 6-2-2 overall and 1-1 in the NJAC while the Pioneers drop to 7-1-3 overall and 1-1 in the conference.

Kyle Allen pushed the Roadrunner lead with a goal (34:20) of his own, his seventh of the season, 2-0. Ramapo held the lead heading into the second half before
Alim Lita tallied his fifth goal of the year in the 49th minute to put Ramapo up, 3-0.
WPU scored back-to-back goals from Dylan Nahas (51:14) and Diego Navas (53:04) before Hosmer scored the eventual game-winner for the Roadrunners. Hosmer took a pass from Lita in the 67th minute (66:47) to take a 4-2 lead. WPU would push the score to 4-3 with a goal from Delvin Nketia in the 68th minute (67:42). The Ramapo defense and goalie
Nikolai Matthews kept the Pioneers off the board in the final 22 minutes of the match including a save from Matthews in the 88th minute. Matthews tallied four saves in the game for the Roadrunners while Luca Misko posted one for WPU. The Pioneers held a 7-5 edge in shots on goal in the game while Ramapo recorded three corner kicks to WPU's one.
The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, October 5th when they host Kean University in a NJAC game at the Athletic Center at 1:00 PM.
