Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's soccer team shutout visiting Skidmore College tonight, 1-0. The Roadrunners move to 2-2-2 overall while the Thoroughbreds now stand at 1-3-2 overall.
Dino Radoncic connected off a pass from
Jack Hosmer to score his second goal of the season to put Ramapo on the board in the 10th (9:26) minute of action. The Ramapo defense combined with three saves off the bench from
Zachary Natt in goal, helped lead the Roadrunners to victory. Natt came into the game in the sixth minute of play in the first half for an injured
Nikolai Matthews who started in goal for Ramapo.
Ramapo outshot Skidmore 14-8 in the game including 4-3 in shots on goal. Each team recorded five corner kicks while Thoroughbred goalie Luca Bravo Frederick tallied two saves in the game.
The Roadrunners open NJAC play this Saturday, September 23rd when they host the College of New Jersey at the Athletic Center Turf field at 1:00 PM.
