Box Score Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's soccer team earned a 5-0 shutout victory over visiting Cairn University tonight at the Athletic Center Turf Field. The Roadrunners move to 1-2-2 overall while the Highlanders now stand at 2-3-1 on the year.

Ramapo got on the board in the first four minutes of action (3:33) when
Leith Matari scored his first goal of the game off a pass from
Dino Radoncic for the 1-0 lead. To start the second half (47:15), the pair teamed up again, this time Radoncic scoring with Matari earning the assist to put the Roadrunners up 2-0. Matari put in his second goal of the night as Jask Hosmer earned the assist for a 3-0 score in the 59th minute (58:48).
Alim Lita tallied his first goal of the season in the 75th minute (74:40) before
Massimo Gallorini and
Michael Morelli teamed up to score the final goal of the game, 5-0, in the 87th minute. Gallorini headed in a ball from Morelli, also his first goal of the season.

The Roadrunners outshot the Highlanders, 26-9, including 13-4 on goal. Each team earned three corner kicks in the game.
Nikolai Matthews collected four saves in the net for the Roadrunners in the shutout victory. For the Highlanders, Chris Eelman posted eight saves in goal.

Ramapo returns to action on Wednesday evening when they host Skidmore College in a non-conference game at 7:00pm.Â
