Brooklyn, NY: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team pushed their overall record to 18-8 and Skyline conference record to 11-1 with a 3-0 (25-19, 25-7, 25-12) road win over St. Joseph's University Brooklyn. The Bears now stand at 6-12 overall and 5-7 in the conference.
The Roadrunners hit .476 in the match with 44 kills on 84 attempts and just four errors.
Andrew Finnegan led the way with a team high 15 kills and 11 digs while
Reece Kirchofer posted ten kills and eight digs.
Matt Rekuc added seven kills while
Mauricio Catalan posted seven digs on defense.
JoJo Meyer recorded 35 assists, two kills, nine digs and one ace in the match.
Brendan Edwards posted the only solo block in the match for the team while he collected two total blocks and four kills.
Alex Helfant led the Bears with 12 kills while he also posted ten digs. Frank Tello posted four kills while Alejandro Oliveros recorded 16 assists and Leonel Bravo posted ten digs on defense. The team collected 19 kills on 90 attempts and just 17 errors.
Ramapo returns to action on Tuesday, April 4th when they travel to St. Joseph's University Long Island for a key Skyline Conference match at 7pm.
