Patchogue, NY: The St. Joseph's University Long Island men's volleyball team remained undefeated in the Skyline Conference with a 3-0 (25-19, 25-14, 25-22) win over Ramapo College tonight. The Golden Eagles move to 19-8 overall, 13-0 in the Skyline while the Roadrunners move to 18-9 overall and 11-2 in the conference.
SJCLI hit .446 in the match with 46 total kills on 83 attempts as they recorded just nine errors in three sets. Three Golden Eagles hit in double figures as Mark Williams and Luke MacPherson each tallied 11 kills while Tyler Anderson posted ten. Joe Pinner collected a team high ten digs while CJ Johnson dished out 39 assists while adding six digs and two blocks.
Andrew Finnegan collected 14 kills, five digs and two aces in the match to lead Ramapo.
Reece Kirchofer posted six kills and five digs.
JoJo Meyer recorded 27 assists while adding two blocks and one dig while
Simon Moeller collected a team high six digs on defense.
The Roadrunners return to action on Thursday, April 6th when they host Sarah Lawrence College at 7:00pm. Ramapo will honor their senior class in a pre-match ceremony.
