Union, NJ: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team saw their seven match win streak snapped tonight on the road at Kean University. The Cougars came back to earn a 3-1 (23-25, 26-24, 25-22, 27-25) NJAC conference victory. Kean moves to 17-8 overall , 1-2 in the NJAC while the Roadrunners now stand at 17-8 overall and 1-2 in the conference.
Ramapo had five Roadrunners record double figures in kills as
Andrew Finnegan posted 13. Finnegan added seven digs, five assists and one ace.
Conor Charlow recorded a .474 hitting percentage as he collected 11 kills.
Reece Kirchofer led the team with 18 digs on defense while he added 11 kills.
Sean Nieves also posted 11 kills while adding four total blocks.
JoJo Meyer dished out a team high 45 assists while adding 15 digs, one kill and one block.
Jack DiGirolamo posted a team high five blocks while adding three kills. Ramapo hit .211 in the match with 55 kills on 147 attempts and 24 errors.
Rajheem Meulens led Kean with 22 kills while he added three blocks and seven digs. Aidan Flinn and Brandon Millias posted 11 and ten kills respectively while Cris Naranjo collected a team high 18 digs on defense. Luke Frankenfield recorded 40 assists, two aces and eight digs. The Cougars hit .160 in the match with 54 kills on 163 attempts and 28 errors.
The Roadrunners return to action tomorrow night on the road at St. Joseph's University Brooklyn for a Skyline Conference match at 7pm.
