Purchase, NY: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team moved to 7-1 in the Skyline Conference with a 3-0 (25-14, 25-9, 25-17) road win over Purchase College. The Roadrunners improved to 13-7 overall while the Panthers now stand at 4-16 overall and 2-7 in the conference.
Ramapo hit .330 in the match with 45 kills on 91 attempts and just 15 errors. Meyer dished out his 1,000th career assist in the third set while he recorded 39 for the match. He became the 11th Roadrunner in program history to reach this mark in his career.
Brendan Edwards hit .542 in the match with 15 kills on 24 attempts and just two errors.
Matt Rekuc hit .357 with eight kills on 14 attempts and three errors while adding three digs and two blocks.
Simon Moeller posted six kills, two aces and seven digs while
Andrew Finnegan also collected seven digs, two assists and five kills.
For Purchase, the team collected 19 kills total as Chris Posillico had seven and Luca Spadinger added six. Idris Idris dished out 15 assists while he also led the team on defense with six digs.
The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, March 25th when they travel to Kean University to take on MIT in a non-conference match at 6pm.
