FINNEGAN POSTS CAREER HIGH AS ROADRUNNERS SPLIT A PAIR OF NON-CONFERENCE MATCHES

Mahwah, NJ:  The Ramapo College men's volleyball team split a pair of non-conference matches this afternoon at the Bradley Center. New York University, ranked #13 in the latest AVCA Top 15 Poll, held on for a 3-1 (25-19, 25-18, 23-25, 26-24) win before the Roadrunners defeated Arcadia University 3-1 (25-23, 23-25, 25-15, 25-19). Ramapo now stands at 3-4 overall.
 
The Violets moved to 5-1 overall and were led by Lucas Osiecki who put down 20 kills and hit .389 in the match. Osiecki also posted seven digs, two blocks and three aces while Gautham Dasari recorded 17 kills, six assists and seven digs. Luke Boyer collected 13 kills and was second on the team with 13 digs while he earned three total blocks. Ry Kagan earned a team high five total blocks while Zach Knudsen led the way on defense with 22 digs and Ryan Li posted a team high 50 assists. NYU hit .272 in the match with 65 total kills on 147 attempts and 25 errors.
 
Reece Kirchofer led the Roadrunners on the court with 13 kills while he hit .423 in the match. Andrew Finnegan recorded 11 kills, two aces and seven digs and Conor Charlow collected four kills and five total blocks including four solo blocks. JoJo Meyer dished out a team high 30 assists while posting a team high 13 digs while adding two blocks and two kills. Chris Moren tacked on three kills, once ace, two blocks and ten digs. The team recorded 39 total kills on 129 attempts and 21 errors.
 
In their four-set win over Arcadia, the Roadrunners were led by Finnegan who posted a career high 24 kills as he hit .457 in the match. Finnegan also recorded eight digs and one assist while Charlow hit .412 in the match with 10 kills while posting three solo blocks, six digs and one ace. Kirchofer added seven kills along with ten digs and two blocks while Moren added four kills and ten digs. Meyer dished out 43 assists while adding seven digs and Simon Moeller posted nine digs on defense. The Roadrunners hit .306 in the match with 51 total kills on 121 attempts and 14 errors.
 
Arcadia (2-5 overall) was led by Danny Gonzalez who recorded 15 kills while adding two aces and three digs. Dylan Zimmerman collected nine kills while adding five aces and three digs. Owen Heft posted ten digs and eight kills while Vaughn McConnell dished out 32 assists while Vincent Colucci posted a team high 14 digs on defense.
 
The Roadrunners return to action on Thursday, February 9th when they host #7 New Paltz at the Bradley Center at 7pm.
