Hoboken, NJ: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team dropped a pair of non-conference matches today against #2 Springfield College and #3 Stevens Institute of Technology. The Roadrunners now stand at 2-3 overall.
 
Match One
Springfield 3, Ramapo 0 (25-10, 25-17, 25-22)
 
Andrew Finnegan led the Roadrunners with eight kills while 
Conor Charlow put down seven and 
Sean Nieves added four. 
JoJo Meyer dished out a team high 17 assists while he added four digs. 
Reece Kirchofer and 
Mauricio Catalan also posted four digs in the match.
 
Springfield moved to 4-1 overall in the non-conference victory. Jarrett Anderson led the way with ten kills and five aces while Evan Costley also posted ten kills. Chris Rouleau posted a team high three blocks while Dylan Mulvaney posted 18 assists. Sean Dougherty posted a team high six digs.
 
Match Two
Stevens 3, Ramapo 0 (25-21, 25-18, 25-19)
 
Alex Franke led Stevens (7-1 overall) with 13 kills while Nathan Lancia posted 12 and Tyler Hoke added six in the match. Colin Nikc dished out a team high 37 assists while Carver Weirick added 15 digs on defense. The Ducks hit .304 in the match with 49 kills on 115 attempts and just 14 errors.
 
Finnegan led the way for Ramapo with 14 kills and six digs while Charlow hit .636 in the match with eight kills on 11 attempts and just one error. Charlow also posted one solo block., one assisted block and four digs. 
Mauricio Catalan recorded a team high 19 digs while Meyer posted 31 assists and six digs. Ramapo tallied 36 kills on 105 attempts in the match with 16 errors.
 
Ramapo returns to action at the Bradley Center on Saturday, February 4th when they host #13 New York University at 1:00pm and Arcadia University at 3:30pm.
