Gavin Mullin scored the game-winner as the Ramapo College men's soccer team posted a 1-0 NJAC victory over the College of New Jersey this afternoon. The Roadrunners (1-4-1, 1-0 NJAC) earn their first win of the season in the NJAC season opener while the Lions move to 4-4-1 overall and 0-1 in the conference.

Ramapo was awarded a corner kick in the 23rd minute of play before Mullin got a head on the other end of the corner kick from
Osbin Mendez. Mullin scored his first goal of the season while Mendez collected his first assist. The Roadrunner defense held TCNJ through the rest of the first half and the final 45 minutes of the second half. Ramapo held a 15-11 advantage in shots in the game including 9-5 on goal. The Roadrunners recorded five corner kicks in the first half and TCNJ posted 11 during the game including eight in the second half.

Matthew Wilcox posted three saves for the Roadrunners while
Nikolai Matthews earned one save in the final 30 minutes of the game. For the Lions, Julian Franco poste eight saves.

The Roadrunners return to action on Wednesday, September 28th when they host Rutgers-Camden University in a NJAC game at 4pm.
