Bronxville, NY: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team won a key Skyline conference match tonight on the road, 3-0 (25-10, 25-13, 25-12), at Sarah Lawrence College. The Roadrunners move to 13-12 overall and 9-3 in the conference while the Gryphons now stand at 7-13 overall and 5-6 in the conference.
Ramapo hit .569 as a team in the match with 40 kills on 65 attempts and just three errors.
Jack DiGirolamo led the way hitting .818 on the night with nine kills on 11 attempts and no errors. He also posted three digs and two solo blocks.
Jason van der Wilt tallied seven kills while
Andrew Finnegan and
Reece Kirchofer posted six kills each.
Josh Titus dished out 12 assists while
JoJo Meyer added 17 of his own in the match. Both Meyer and
Tyler Plitt led the way on defense with seven digs each.
The Gryphons posted 18 kills as a team as Nate Davis collected 17. Davis also posted one ace and five digs while Juan Paris collected 17 assists in the match. Ralph Calle-Schultz recorded six digs on defense.
The Roadrunners return to action on Sunday, April 4th when they travel to Purchase College for a Skyline tri-match. They will take on the host Panthers at 10am and go up against Yeshiva College at 12pm.
