Purchase, NY: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team swept their final regular season tri-match today at Purchase College. The Roadrunners defeated the host Panthers 3-1 (25-14,25-10,23-25,25-9) and Yeshiva College 3-0 (25-9,25-17,25-15).
Ramapo moves to 15-12 overall and wraps up Skyline Conference play with an 11-3 record. The Roadrunners will be the #3 seed in the Skyline Tournament and will open the tournament at #2 New Jersey City University on Thursday, April 7th for a 7pm match.
Match One
Ramapo hit .264 in the match with 52 total kills on 110 attempts and 23 errors.
Reece Kirchofer and
Jason van der Wilt each led the way with nine kills each.
Conor Charlow added seven kills and a team high four aces.
JoJo Meyer and
Josh Titus split setting duties with 20 and 16 assists respectively.
Tyler Plitt led the way on defense with ten total digs.
Match Two
The Roadrunners hit .434 as a team with 44 total kills on 76 attempts and 11 errors. Charlow led the team hitting .800 with nine kills on ten attempts and just one error. Titus led the way with 17 assists while Meyer posted 13 assists, four kills, two aces and four digs.
