Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team split a pair of Skyline Conference matches today at the Bradley Center. The Roadrunners fell to St. Joseph's College – LI before they defeated Sarah Lawrence College.
Match One – SJC-LI 3, Ramapo 0
The Eagles recorded 41 kills in the match on 97 attempts and 16 errors to hit .258 overall. Mark Jensen led the way with 15 kills while he added 12 digs and three blocks. Paul Curaro added 11 kills, one assist, two aces and three digs. Clint Johnson dished out a team high 38 assists while he added two blocks and Quinn Foglia added seven digs and a team high four blocks including one solo.
The Roadrunners were led by
Andrew Finnegan who posted 11 kills, six digs and one block while
Jason van der Wilt added ten kills, one assist, two digs and one block.
Josh Titus dished out a team high 30 assists while
Tyler Plitt posted a team high 17 digs on defense. Plitt also posted one kill and one assist while
Conor Charlow added six kills, one ace and three total blocks.
Match Two – Ramapo 3, Sarah Lawrence 0
Reece Kirchofer posted 13 kills on 23 attempts to hit .391 in the match while he added one ace, two blocks and five digs.
Brendan Edwards hit .385 in the match with eight kills while he added one ace, one block and three digs.
JoJo Meyer posted 20 assists, nine digs and one kill while
Chris Moren added 14 assists, seven digs, six kills, one ace and one block.
Simon Moeller and Meyer led the way on defense each posting nine digs.
The Roadrunners return to action in a key Skyline Conference match on Tuesday, March 29th when they travel to St. Joseph's College – LI at 7pm.
