Patchogue, NY: The St. Joseph's College – LI men's volleyball team earned a 3-0 (28-26, 25-23, 25-15) Skyline Conference win over Ramapo College. The Eagles improve to 21-3 overall and remain undefeated in the conference at 11-0. The Roadrunners move to 12-11 overall and 8-3 in the Skyline.
Paul Curaro and Mark Jensen led SJC-LI with 16 kills each. Curaro also posted eight digs and two blocks while Jensen posted nine digs and one assist. Clint Johnson dished out a team high 36 assists, five digs and one ace while Jason Siriban led the way with ten digs on defense. The team hit .337 in the match with 43 kills on 89 attempts and just 13 errors.
Andrew Finnegan led the way for Ramapo with 12 kills, three digs and one ace while
Jason van der Wilt posted ten kills, four digs and two total blocks.
Conor Charlow hit .312 on the night with eight kills on 16 attempts while he added two blocks, two digs and one ace.
Ramapo is now tied for second place in the Skyline Conference with three conference matches remaining. The Roadrunners return to action tomorrow night when they travel to NYU for a non-conference match at 7pm.
