Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's basketball team earned the #5 seed in the upcoming
NJAC Basketball Tournament. The Roadrunners will travel to #4 William Paterson University on Tuesday, February 22nd for a quarterfinal game in Wayne, NJ at 7pm.
This is the Roadrunners fifth appearances in the NJAC Women's Basketball Tournament and fourth under the direction of head coach
Mike Eineker. WPU defeated Ramapo in both regular season games this season. Ramapo has been led this season by
Jada Thompson who leads the team with 14.6 points per game along with 43 steals, 189 rebounds and a team high 75 assists.
Bridget Cahill leads the team with 39 three-pointers while she's averaged 11.4 points per game.
Alie Wickersheim leads the team with 1193 rebounds, 9.2 per game while she's recorded 9.9 point per game along with a team high 36 blocked shots.
Olivia Johnstone is second on the team with 30 made three-pointers this season while she averages 9.4 points per game.
Shannon Burns and
Jackie Ventricelli each collected 101 rebounds while Burns averages 8.0 points per game and Ventricelli 8.1 points per game. The Ramapo defense has forced 384 turnovers this season, 18.2 per game for their opponents.

WPU INDOOR SPECTATOR POLICY
All spectators will be required to show proof of vaccination for entry (two doses for Pfizer and Moderna, or one for Johnson & Johnson), or must present proof of a negative COVID test (PCR test conducted within 72 hours, or antigen test conducted within 24 hours, of the event's start time). Vaccinated spectators will need to present their COVID vaccination card, a photo of their vaccination card, or an official app such as Docket, Excelsior or Clear. Test results must be presented via a printout or electronically. Results from at-home tests will not be accepted.
Spectators will not be permitted to consume food or beverages inside the arena. Food and beverages may only be consumed inside the lobby.
The Athletics event masking policy is determined by the William Paterson University policy. Currently, face coverings (over nose and mouth) are required at all times for all spectators, regardless of vaccination status. The only exception is when an individual is actively consuming food or beverages inside the lobby.
Spectators will be encouraged to sit socially distant.
Signage will be posted throughout the venue to instruct spectators on all protocols
