DIGIROLAMO LEADS RAMAPO OVER POTSDAM IN 3-0 WIN

Mahwah, NJ:  The Ramapo College men's volleyball team earned their first win of the 2022 season with a 3-0 (25-18, 25-20, 25-15) victory over SUNY Potsdam in non-conference action. The Roadrunners now stand at 1-2 overall while the Bears move to 3-4 overall.
 
Ramapo hit .349 in the match while they were led by Sean Nieves who tallied 10 kills on 20 attempts with just two errors to hit .400. He also posted one assist, one ace and five digs. Jason van der Wilt posted nine kills on 18 attempts with just two errors to hit .389 while he posted six digs. Conor Charlow also hit .400 in the match with eight kills on 15 attempts and just two errors. He also posted two solo blocks and one assist while Jack DiGirolamo led the team hitting .833 overall with five kills on six attempts with no errors. He also added one solo block and a team high three assisted blocks. Andrew Finnegan led the team on defense with nine digs while he added five kills and two assists. JoJo Meyer dished out a team high 30 assists while he added seven digs, one kill and one block. Tyler Plitt also posted seven digs while contributing two assists and a perfect passing percentage on 14 attempts.
 
Joe Zimmerman led the Bears with 11 kills while Zaire Rogers added four kills. Zimmerman also posted a team high seven digs while he added one assisted block. Alec Roy tallied a team high 12 assists while he added one ace and two digs. The team posted 23 kills on 86 attempts with 23 errors.
 
The Roadrunners return to action on Tuesday, February 1st when they host St. Joseph's College-Brooklyn at the Bradley Center at 7pm.
