Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team defeated St. Joseph's College – Brooklyn tonight, 3-0 (25-11, 25-7, 25-17) in Skyline Conference action. The Roadrunners even their overall record to 2-2 overall while they open the Skyline conference season at 1-0. The Bears now stand at 0-2 on the year and 0-1 in the conference.
The Roadrunners hit .299 in the match with 44 kills on 97 attempts with 15 errors. The team was led by
Simon Moeller and
Reece Kirchofer who each put down seven kills in the match while
Conor Charlow and
Joshua Caggiano each collected six kills.
JoJo Meyer dished out a team high 25 assists while
Chris Moren collected 12 in the match. Charlow and Caggiano each posted two total blocks for the team while
Jake Haug and
Tyler Plitt each tallied nine digs on defense.
For the Bears, Ramizjon Khudoyorov collected five kills to lead the team while he added five digs, one solo block and one assist. Alex Helfant posted three kills, two assists and a team high ten digs. Israel Bautista posted a team high seven assists while he added five digs and one assisted block.
Ramapo returns to action tomorrow night when they host New Jersey City University in a Skyline/NJAC conference match at the Bradley Center at 7pm.
