Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's swim team defeated non-conference rival Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham 180-35. The Roadrunners improve to 3-3 overall while the Devils now stand at 0-13 on the season.
Brenda Arthur set a new school record in the 100-yard IM when she posted a time of 1:03.70. Arthur won the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:11.37 while
Meghan Trewhella won the 100-yard freestyle in 57.33.
Sarah Stacey earned a first place finish in the 200-yard freestyle when she clocked in at 2:07.27 while
Julia Housel (1:02.84) and
Cara Housel (1:07.78) went 1-2 in the 100-yard backstroke. J. Housel clocked in at 29.77 in the 50-yard backstroke while C. Housel came in second with a time of 31.89. Allison VanGlahn won the 50-yard breaststroke (34.87) while
Maggie Herbert won the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:37.58. Herbert also posted a winning time of 28.28 in the 50-yard butterfly.
