Box Score Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's lacrosse team defeated the College of Saint Elizabeth 18-2 in a non-conference game today at the Athletic Center. The Roadrunners improve to 4-3 overall while the Eagles fall to 0-3.
Lindsay Hughes led the Roadrunners with five goals while
Victoria Cunningham added three goals and four assists.
Katie Duca added two goals while
Emma Bolton, Haley Luisa,
Molly Warner,
Briana Vitulano,
Nina Bochna, Brianna Hempele,
Lacey Gruendling and
Alyssa Tachon all recorded one goal each in the game.
Hughes got Ramapo on the board in the first half off an assist from Tachon before Cunningham posted an unassisted goal to take a 2-0 lead.
Amanda Inacio got the Eagles on the board with their first goal of the game (24:37) before Cunningham scored her second goal of the game, the eventual game winner, with 24:06 on the clock to take a 3-1 lead. Following the Eagles second goal of the game from Riley Hosey in the first half, Ramapo scored 15 unanswered goals in the game.
Tara Ward earned the win in the net for Ramapo while
Monica Bubello and
Tiffani Romeo each saw action in the net during the game as well. Ward and Bubello each recorded a save in the win.
Ramapo returns to action on March 29th when they travel to the College of Old Westbury for a non-conference game at 3pm.
