Mahwah, NJ: The College of New Jersey women's swim team defeated Ramapo College today 142-118 in NJAC action. The Lions improve to 2-1 overall and 2-0 in the NJAC while the Roadrunners now stand at 1-1 overall and 0-1 in the conference.

Maggie Herbert combined to take home a first place finish in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:54.31. Stacey Sarah placed second overall in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:38.36 while Herbert won the 200-yard freestyle in 2:01.38. J. Housel won the 100-yard backstroke in 1:02.67 while Arthur also clinched a first place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:11.38. Herbert won back-to-back events in the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle with times of 25.06 and 56.00 respectively. Arthur also won the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:02.33 while she won the 200-yard IM in 2:20.11. The 400-yard freestyle relay team won the event with a time of 3:40.66. The team was made up of
