Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Purchase, NY:  The Ramapo College men's volleyball team went 1-1 today against Purchase College, 3-0 (25-15, 25-14, 25-14) and Kean University, 1-3 (26-28, 20-25, 25-21, 21-25).  With the win and loss the Roadrunners stand at 11-4 overall and 4-1 in the conference. 

Ramapo opened the day defeating Purchase behind eight kills from rookie Ryan Casci.  He hit .700 on the day with just one error on ten attempts.  The team combined hitting .470 with 38 kills on 66 attempts with only seven errors.  Rookie Alec Weissman dished out 33 assists, while Casci and Weissman each led the defense picking up six digs apiece.  Casci collected five service aces in the win.  Rookies Connor Brandow and Nick Amos each put down five blocks.

In a tough loss to the Cougars of Kean University, rookie Ahjon Petty collected a team leading 16 kills while senior Nick Hrehovcik added 12 of his own.  Ramapo went 49-115 with 21 errors hitting .243.  Weissman assisted on 46 points and rookie Kurt MacDonald picked up a team leading 19 digs.  Chris Sidnam led the team with four blocks, while Hrehovcik added eight digs of his own.

The Roadrunners return to action on Tuesday, March 4th when they host conference rival New Jersey City University at 7pm at the Bradley Center.
