Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's basketball team has been picked to finish sixth overall in the 2014 NJAC Women's Basketball Preseason poll announced today by the league office.

Tierney Henderson along with a group of newcomers.
Ramapo opens the season this Saturday at 3pm when they host St. Joseph's LI College in the Roadrunner Tip-Off Tournament. Washington College (MD) will take on Brooklyn College in the 5pm game. The two winners' will advance to the Championship game at 2pm on Sunday while the other two teams will play in the Consolation game at noon. Ramapo opens up NJAC Conference play on November 22nd when they host Rowan University at 1pm at the Bradley Center.
The 33rd season of NJAC women's basketball will tip-off on Saturday, November 15 with nine league teams in non-conference action. The top six finishers in the conference standings will participate in the 2014-15 NJAC Championship Tournament. First round tournament games will take place on Saturday, February 21, with the sixth seeded team hosting the third-seeded team, and the fourth-seeded team hosting the fifth-seeded team. The top two seeds will each receive a first round bye. The NJAC Tournament Semifinals will be hosted by the top two seeds on Wednesday, February 25. The two semifinal winners will advance to the 2014-15 NJAC Championship Game on Saturday, February 28, to be contested at the site of the highest remaining seed. The NJAC Tournament Champion receives the conference's automatic qualification to the NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament.
