Box Score Camden, NJ:  The Ramapo College women's basketball team posted their 10th win of the season, 7th in the conference today, as they defeated the Scarlet Raptors of Rutgers Camden, 68-60 on the road.  Behind 17 points from 
Jackie Jerkovich, the Roadrunners improve to 10-8 overall and 7-4 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference.
The Roadrunners combined hitting 20-51 (39%) from the floor, while Jerkovich put away 5-12 of her own.  
Micaela Moore and 
Kelly Haspel collected 11 points each while 
Alayna Donadio shot 5-9 netting 13 points of her own.  Moore led the team with eight rebounds and Haspel and Donadio contributed four assists each.
For the Raptors, Michelle Onu collected a team high 19 rebounds, while Tanjae Lewis and Alex Gravinese each led the offense with 17 points each.  Lewis dished out three assists and completed the double-double with 13 rebounds.  The Scarlet Raptors combined hitting 18-62 (29%) from the floor.
Krystle Cook hit a basket at 11:35 of the first half to push the Scarlet Raptors ahead, 8-4, before a layup from Kerri Kosakowski sparked a 13-0 run to give the Roadrunners a 17-8 lead with 7:44 to go in the half.  The run was capped off by 
Tierney Henderson.  Rutgers Camden would respond with a mini run of their own to come within four at 5:31, when Alex Gravinese drained a three-point goal to close the gap, 13-17.  The Roadrunners again climbed to an eight-point advantage before an offensive spark from Rutgers Camden put the two teams just two points apart at the halftime buzzer, with Ramapo leading, 25-23.  Haspel and Kosakowski led Ramapo with six points each as the team combined hitting 10-28 (36%).  Gravinese was Rutgers Camden's leading scorer in the half.  She netted seven points hitting 2-9 from the floor.
The lead changed 11 times over the course of the opening 13 minutes of the second half, before two good free throws from Donadio at 7:01, tied the game for the 11th time at 49, and put Ramapo ahead, 50-49.  The Roadrunners strung together seven points from there to jump ahead, 57-50 with 4:57 remaining in the game.  The Scarlet Raptors had another surge, stringing together a 7-1 run of the own to come within one point, 57-58, but it wasn't enough as the Roadrunners worked their way to an eight-point lead, which came at the buzzer, to take the game.  Six good free throws from Ramapo and missed opportunities from the Scarlet Raptors closed out the NJAC match-up in Camden, NJ.  Jerkovich collected 13 points in the second half as the team went 10-23 (44%).  Moore and Donadio netted nine and eight points respectively.  Rutgers Camden went 10-28 (36%) in the final half, behind 12 points from Lewis and ten from Gravinese.
Ramapo returns to action when they host Kean University on Wednesday, January 29th at 5:30pm at the Bradley Center.
