Box Score Union, NJ:  The Ramapo College women's lacrosse team dropped an 8-19 decision today, to the Cougars of Kean University, in a Skyline and NJAC Conference match-up in Union.  With the loss the Roadrunners fall to 0-5 overall, 0-2 in the Skyline, and 0-2 in the NJAC.  The Cougars improved to 6-1 overall and 2-0 Skyline, 1-1 NJAC.

Ramapo goalkeeper, Reagan Vier, tallied ten saves in the first half alone and finished the game with 21 as the Cougars out shot Ramapo, 54-20. 

The Cougars jumped out to a 3-0 lead before Taylor Jade Nicholas got Ramapo on the board off a dish from Teresa Gustafson.  Amanda Ferry collected two goals of her own in the first half of play, but the Cougars tallied three, closing out the first half with a 7-3 lead over the Roadrunners.

The second half proved to be much of the same, as the Cougars out scored Ramapo 12-5 for the 11-goal victory.  Briana Vitulano netted the first of Ramapo's goals in the second half, before rookie Lindsay Hughes put away four goals to add to her team leading 17.

Ramapo returns to action on Saturday, March 23rd, when they host Mt. St. Vincent at the Athletic Center at 1pm.
