Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's lacrosse team fell to NJAC and Skyline rival Montclair State University 7-19 today at the Athletic Center. Ramapo falls to 4-4 overall and 1-2 in the NJAC/Skyline while the Red Hawks improve to 6-3 overall, 2-0 in the NJAC and 2-1 in the Skyline.
The Red Hawks got an early goal just 1:12 in from Kailee Beal before Maggie Fallon gave the team a 2-0 edge just one and a half minutes later. Beal posted her second goal of the game for a 3-0 Red Hawk lead with 25:14 left to play. Cora Delfini then followed up with two of her own goals three minutes apart, 5-0. Amanda Ferry got the Roadrunners on the board.
Amanda Barretta hit the back of the net with 1:41 on the clock closing out the half down 4-14.
In the first half, Montclair held a 24-9 advantage in shots while goaltender Tiffani Henderson made four saves.
The Red Hawks jumped ahead 15-4 just under two minutes into the second half with a second goal by Tierney Conlon, before Delfini posted her fourth goal in the game with 27:51 on the clock. Montclair scattered three more goals in the second half and Ramapo's

Adrianna Tepedino and Barretta each posted one giving the Red Hawks a 19-7 victory.
Henderson made three more saves in the second half. Again the Red Hawks out shot the Roadrunners 7-6.
The Roadrunners return to action Tuesday, April 3rd when they travel to Kean for a 4:00pm match-up.
