Mahwah, NJ:  The Ramapo College women's lacrosse team earned a 15-3 victory today at the Athletic Center over the Privateers of Maritime College in a Skyline Conference match-up. With the victory Ramapo improves to 3-3 overall while Maritime falls to 1-3.
The Roadrunners got an early goal just 2:49 in from Amanda Baretta before Colleen Steal gave the team a 2-0 edge just one minute later. Both goals came unassisted. On a free position shot with 26:09 to play, Steel posted her second goal of the game for a 3-0 Ramapo lead and Baretta added a second goal of her own 30 seconds later to give Ramapo a four goal edge. Ramapo went up 5-0 before Catherine Brady got the Privateers on the board at 19:04. 
Adrianna Tepedino and 
Amanda Ferry each hit the back of the net in the final minutes of the half putting Ramapo ahead, 7-1 heading into the intermission.
Ramapo held a 19-12 advantage in shots while rookie goaltender 
Reagan Vier made six saves. Laura Palino blocked five Ramapo shots in the half.
Ramapo jumped ahead 8-1 under a minute into the second half with a second goal from Ferry, before Tepedino posted her second and third of the game with 26:58 and 25:14 on the clock respectively.  Ramapo scattered five more goals over the final 20 plus minutes and Maritime's Kristen Saporito posted two giving Ramapo a 15-3 victory.
Vier made three more saves in the second half while Palino grabbed three of her own. Ramapo again out shot the Privateers 18-6.
The Roadrunners return to action on Monday, March 26th when they travel to Rutgers Camden for a 4pm match-up.
