Box Score Jersey City, NJ: The Ramapo College women's basketball team defeated NJAC rival New Jersey City University tonight on the road, 64-51. The Roadrunners remain undefeated at 3-0 overall and 1-0 in the conference while the Gothic Knights fall to 1-2 overall and 0-1 in the NJAC.
Senior
Faith Flannery led Ramapo with 13 points, seven rebounds and four assists while junior
Micaela Moore added 11 points and nine rebounds and a team high five blocked shots. Sophomore
Kelly Haspel collected 12 points, three rebounds and four assists while sophomore
Kerrie Kosakowski dished out four assists and added 11 points. Sophomore
Alex Milne came off the bench for the Roadrunners and tallied ten points while grabbing four rebounds.
The Roadrunners shot 42% (21-49) from the field and 59% (19-32) from the foul line in the game.
For NJCU, Gabrielle Rivera and Ashley Vazquez paced the team with 11 and ten points respectively while Alnisa Hernaiz grabbed a team high nine rebounds while adding eight points.
The Roadrunners return to action on Monday, November 26th when they host non-conference foe the College of Saint Elizabeth at 6:00 PM.
