Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's lacrosse team raised their overall record to 10-4 overall and 2-3 in the NJAC with an 18-5 win over Rutgers-Camden University. The Scarlet Raptors fall to 3-8 overall, 0-4 in the conference.
Amanda Barretta netted four goals while tallying two assists for Ramapo.
Adrianna Tepedino,
Colleen Steel and
Kristen Jakubik all recorded three goals while
Jenna Pfarr and
Michelle Gustafson added two and
Brittany Gazzanigo scored one goal.
Ramapo out shot the Scarlet Raptor's 40-18 in the game while Rutgers-Camden had a slight edge in draw control's 13-12. Ramapo jumped out to a 9-0 lead before Rutgers-Camden got on the board.
Barretta tallied three goals in the first half including her 45th of the season on a free position shot to make it 8-0 Ramapo before Jakubik netted her 13th goal of the year off a pass from Barretta, 9-0. Ramapo added two more goals in the half to take an 11-1 lead.
Samantha Gregg recorded the first goal in the half for the Scarlet Raptor's second goal of the game before Pfarr scored back to back goals for a 13-2 lead. Rutgers-Camden scored the next three goals to come within 13-5 with ten minutes remaining in the game. Ramapo added five goals in the closing ten minutes for an 18-5 win.

Ramapo returns to action on April 28th at 4:00 PM, when they host the semi-final of the Skyline Conference Tournament against the winner of #3 Farmingdale State and #6 Mount Saint Mary College.
