Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's lacrosse team improved to 4-1 in the Skyline conference and 7-4 overall with an 18-5 win over Skyline foe Sage College today at the Athletic Center. Ramapo currently stands in third place in the Skyline standings.

Jenna Pfarr (Cranford, NJ), sophomores
Lindsey Jachens (Montvale, NJ),
Christina Cigolini (Ridgewood, NJ),
Brittney Harraka (Clifton, NJ),
Brittany Gazzanigo (Millstone Twp., NJ) and rookies
Amanda Ferry (Gloucester City, NJ),
Adrianna Tepedino (Freehold, NJ) and
Katrina Hill (Metuchen, NJ) all added one goal during the game for the Roadrunners.
Ramapo got on the board 33 seconds into the game when Hartline scored on a pass from Cigolini. Barretta put Ramapo in the lead 2-0 with an unassisted goal before Sage got a goal on the board.
Jessica Hankle recorded an unassisted goal with 25:03 remaining in the half before Ramapo scored six unanswered goals to take a 8-1 lead. Ginelle Butler scored on a free position shot for Sage with 13:39 remaining in the half before Hill scored on a free position shot to go up 9-2. Jackubik added her goal with 6:52 remaining, 10-2, as this was the final goal of the half.
Ramapo scored seven goals in the second half, the first coming off a pass from Chiavaro to Ferry before Bruno scored her second goal of the game with 27:38 remaining.
For Sage, Butler score two goals while Anna Malin, Christina Gray each recorded one goal.
Senior goalkeeper
Megan Tierney (Wayne, NJ) recorded 43:50 minutes in the net allowing only four goals and with three saves while sophomore
Diana Silva recorded the final 16:10 of the half.
This was the final home game for seniors, Tierney, Chivaro, Hartline and
Angela Belotta (Colonia, NJ). Ramapo returns to action on the road when they travel to the College of Mount St. Vincent on Saturday at 7:00 PM.
