Mahwah, NJ: The Roadrunners faced off with the St. Joseph College Eagles in a non-conference women's soccer match-up today at the Athletic Center, where the Lady Roadrunners came out with a 2-0 victory to improve to 3-2 overall on the year. St. Joe's falls to 1-4.

Brittany Mongelli (West Milford, NJ) gave the Roadrunners a 1-0 advantage at 32:56 and junior
Kim Bruno (Middletown, NJ) slipped a ball past the Eagles netminder with timing running short at the end of the half to head into the intermission with a two goal lead over St. Joe's.
Ramapo outshot the Eagles, 12-3 in the first 45 minutes of play while Dana Carney (Patchogue, NY) made six saves for St. Joe's and
Jessica DaRold (Sayreville, NJ), two for Ramapo. St. Joe's held a slight edge in corners over the Roadrunners, 2-1.
The second half of the game was scoreless earning the Roadrunners a 2-0 shutout non-conference win in Mahwah. DaRold made three second half saves while Carney made five for the Eagles. Ramapo outshot the Eagles 9-4 in the final half of play.
The Roadrunners return to action Wednesday, September 16th when they travel to SUNY Purchase for a 7:00pm start.
