Mahwah, NJ: The New Jersey Athletic Conference has announced the 2026 NJAC Women's Soccer Preseason Coaches' Poll, as voted on by the league's head coaches. The Roadrunners were selected to finish ninth in the 10-team conference.
Head Coach
Abby Shiffler enters her 15th season at the helm of the Roadrunners and returns a veteran squad highlighted by seniors
Amber Maher and
Morgan Korinchak. Maher and Korinchak each started every game last season, along with junior
Amanda Barr and sophomore
Gigi Santana. Maher led the Roadrunners offensively last season with three goals and one assist for a team-high seven points. Sophomore
Marisa Christ returns after appearing in 11 games, including five starts, before missing the latter half of the season due to injury. She recorded two goals and two assists for six points. Santana added two goals and one assist, while Barr contributed one goal. Senior goalkeeper
Gabby Matias also returns after logging more than 1,400 minutes in goal last season. She recorded six wins, including three shutouts, and posted a team-high 83 saves while facing 198 shots.
Ramapo opens the 2026 season at home on Tuesday, Sept. 1, when the Roadrunners host FDU-Florham at 7 p.m. Ramapo will face six additional non-conference opponents before opening NJAC play on the road at Kean University on Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 7:30 p.m. A full schedule can be
