Ewing, NJ: The College of New Jersey women's basketball team hosted the Roadrunners of Ramapo College on Saturday afternoon in Packer Hall. TCNJ would collect the 65-53 win and improve to 15-4 overall and 7-2 in the NJAC. Ramapo drops to 8-11 overall and 3-6 in the league.
TCNJ's senior center Hillary Klimowicz (Scotch Plains, NJ/Scotch Plains-Fanwood) would finish the game with 15 points and 14 rebounds after leading the way at the break with nine points and eight rebounds with five blocks. By game's end, she would rack up her 36th career double-double and now has 1,118 career points, good enough for No. 11 on the Lions' all-time women's career scoring list. She is just six points shy of surpassing Adrienne Warner's (2000-04) who finished with 1,123 points.
Senior guard Alyssa Michella (Washington Twp., NJ/Immaculate Heart Academy) added eight points in the first half as the Lions led 33-19 at the break. TCNJ held a 23-18 edge on the boards in the first half and forced 12 turnovers. She finished the game with 11 points with six rebounds, while junior guard Nicole Diaz (Egg Harbor Township, NJ/Egg Harbor Township) netted 10 points for the Lions.
For the Roadrunners, junior forward
Beth Weinmann (Pompton Plains, NJ/Pequannock) led her team with six points in the first half as she shot 75.0% from the floor (3-4). She foulded out of the game at 4:57 after tallying 12 points with seven rebounds. Sophomore guard

Tiffany China (West Orange, NJ/West Orange) each finish in double-digit scoring as China netted 13 points and Cannizzaro finished with 10 points with four rebounds and four assists.
TCNJ returns to action on February 3 hosting Ursinus College in a 7:00 p.m. non-conference game, while Ramapo hosted Manhattanville College on February 2 at 6:00 p.m.
