Ithaca, NY: The Ramapo College softball team fell to #6 Bethany College today in game eight of the 2008 NCAA Division III Softball Tournament. The Roadrunners will now take on #8 Defiance tomorrow at noon while Bethany will take on top ranked Ithaca College at 10:00 AM.
Senior Heather Immesberger (Rumson Fair Haven/Rumson, N.J.) threw a complete-game seven hitter for Bethany College, holding the Roadrunners off the scoreboard until the final inning, and the Bisons capitalized on three Ramapo errors to post at 5-1 victory.

Deanna Giordano (Clifton, NJ) fell to 7-3, striking out three in three innings of work while senior
Katie Norton (Livingston, NJ) struck out four over the final three innings.

Lauren Cascino (New Windsor, NY) was the only Roadrunner with multiple hit game going 2-4.
