Mahwah, NJ:   The Ramapo College women's lacrosse team shutout Maritime College in their first Skyline conference match of the season.  The Roadrunners improve to 1-4 overall while the Privateers fall to 1-8.  
Senior 
Eveline Rutledge (Plainsboro, NJ) ripped five shots on goal for a game high five goals to help lead the Roadrunners over Maritime in their first Skyline Conference victory of the season. Sophomore 
Sarah Clayton (Howell, NJ) got Ramapo on the board with back to back goals with just under 27 minutes to go before Rutledge score three of her own for a 5-0 lead. Rookie 
Melissa Ohstrom (Dumont, NJ) teamed up with Clayton before she scored two more of her own.
Ramapo closed the half with five more goals for a 11-0 lead.  Ramapo out shot Maritime 19-2 in the first half while the Roadrunners picked up 22 ground balls to Maritime's nine.
Sophomore 
Cassandra Hartline (Kinnelon, NJ) recorded her second goal of the season with a shot into the back of the net with 26:26 to go in the second half she was assisted by rookie 
Jenna Pfar (Cranford, NJ). Rookie 
Melody Oostdyk (West Milford, NJ) scored before sophomore 
Angela Belotta (Colonia, NJ) recorded the team's 16 and 17th goals of the game. Sophomore 
Maria Nappo (Oceanport, NJ) ripped a shot with 1:16 to play in the game for her first goal of the season.
Megan Tierney (Wayne, NJ) recorded her first shutout of the season with four saves for the game.
Clayton recorded four goals and two assists while Pfarr contributed four assists in the game
The Roadrunners return to action when they travel to Centenary College for a 4:00 PM game.
