Mahwah, NJ: New Jersey City University fought from 14 down in the second half to force overtime in a NJAC match-up at the Bradley Center in Mahwah. The Gothic Knights outscored Ramapo 10-7 in the overtime period earning an 81-78 victory in the final game of the 2006-2007 season. NJCU wraps up the year, 9-15 overall, 4-9 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference while Ramapo finishes at 6-18 overall, 1-12 in the conference.

Natasha Gross (Glen Rock, NJ) got Ramapo on the board at 17:34 with a jump shot to close the gap, 6-2. Ramapo slowly chipped away at NJCU's lead until the 7:25 minute mark when two good free throws from senior
Keona Palmer (Port Reading, NJ) gave Ramapo a one point, 21-20 edge. The free throws sparked a 12-2 Ramapo run pushing the Roadrunners ahead 31-22 with 3:44 left to play in the half. The Roadrunners rounded out the half with an 11-2 run to head into the intermission, 42-31 over NJCU. Beth Weinmann (Pompton Plains, NJ) and Gross led the Roadrunners with 11 and ten points respectively while Palmer added seven of her own. All Gothic Knights were held to single digits with Latrese McNair (Elizabeth, NJ) coming out on top with seven shooting 3-8 from the floor. Tiffany Boyd (Jersey City, NJ) recorded a team high five blocks in the half.
The second half belonged to New Jersey City outscoring Ramapo 40-29 shooting 18-34 (53%) from the floor over Ramapo's 8-22 (36%). NJCU spent the first 18:17 of the half chipping away at Ramapo's lead and with 1:43 on the clock, Boyd hit a three-pointer to come within one, 68-67. Each Ramapo point went answered by NJCU and with just two seconds on the clock, McNair hit a jumper tying the game at 71-71 forcing the first overtime game of the year for NJCU. Boyd scored 14 of NJCU's points in the second and McNair netted 11. Boyd added two more blocks in the half and the team out rebounded Ramapo 20-11.
The Gothic Knights opened the overtime period hitting back-to-back baskets and they outscored Ramapo, 7-1 in the opening 1:26 to take a 78-72 edge topped off by a Jercia Hayes (Bayonne, NJ) three-pointer. Ramapo went on a mini 4-0 run to come within two, 80-78, but four missed opportunities by Ramapo down the stretch allowed NJCU to come out on top, 81-78.
McNair finished on top of all Gothic Knights with 22 points shooting 10-19 from the floor while Boyd wrapped up the OT win with 20 of her own. Boyd recorded a double-double with her points and ten boards and Trisha Sanon (Jersey City, NJ) posted a double-double of her own with ten and ten. NJCU went 35-73 (48%) in the win ahead of Ramapo's 26 baskets on 66 attempts (39%).
