Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's soccer team improved to 3-0-1 overall today as they dropped SUNY Old Westbury, 7-0.
Junior CHRIS BLACKMORE (Winslow, NJ) led the team posting two goals in the first half assisted by ADAM TIGHE (Brick, NJ) and NORMAN CROCHETIERE (Hamilton, NJ). PAUL TAYLOR (Nottingham, England) tallied one more at 38:49 ending the first half three goals over Old Westbury.
Ramapo netted four more in the second half by ANDRES GIRALDO (Bergenfield, NJ), NELZO GUERRERO, 2 (Princeton, NJ), and ZACHARY GARWOOD (Haddon Twp, NJ). Rookie ANGEL MARTINEZ (Princeton, NJ) tallied two assists for the team while GARWOOD and ANDELSON MINDEST (Orange, NJ) each added one of their own.
Senior goalkeeper ADAM HEIFITZ (Paramus, NJ) shared the minutes with sophomore RICH WOLFLE (North Arlington, NJ) stopping two total shots.
The Roadrunners will open conference play on Wednesday, September 18th at 4:00 PM when they will host the Cougars of Kean University.
