Andersen earns NJAC Track Athlete of the Week honors after winning two individual titles at the NJAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Ramapo over the weekend. Andersen won both the 800 meters and 1500 meters. He defended his title in the 800 with a time of 1:54.08, an AARTFC qualifying time. He posted another regional qualifying time with a 3:57.80 in the 1500; that time ranks third all-time in Ramapo program history and Andersen’s win marks the sixth straight 1500 title won by a Roadrunner. Andersen also ran a leg of the 4x400 relay which finished third with a time of 3:26.04. Andersen’s 1500 time was the fourth-fastest in the Atlantic Region this season. He also owns the second-fastest 800 time in the region, and 29th-fastest nationally.
