Edwards becomes the second different Roadrunner to earn NJAC Outdoor Rookie of the Week honors after competing at Ramapo’s own Roadrunner Invitational. She placed sixth in a field of 28 runners in the triple jump, registering a mark of 10.94 meters. She also placed 14th in a field of 38 competitors in the 100 meter hurdles, posting a time of 15.90. Edwards finished the long jump event with a mark of 4.91 meters, placing 16th in a field of 38 competitors. The performance by Edwards in the triple jump currently ranks as the third best NJAC leap and ranks 40th nationally in Division III.
