Herbert earns NJAC Rookie of the Week honors after contributing to three team, and three individual event victories in the two meets she swam in this week. She was the anchor leg of the Roadrunners’ first-place 200 medley relay event, which registered a winning time of 1:53.08, while also leading off the first-place 400 freestyle relay, which produced a winning mark of 3:43.40. Individually, she touched first in the 100 freestyle event with a top time of 54.39 during a 134.5-127.5 defeat to New Paltz. During a 135-127 NJAC victory over Montclair, she won two individual races in the 50 and the 100 freestyle events, producing respective times of 24.98 and 54.96. Herbert was also a member of the Roadrunner’s first-place 400 freestyle relay, which produced a winning time of 3:44.70 during the victory.
