Hartman earns the first NJAC Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week selection after traveling to Charlotte, NC to compete at the 49ers Classic hosted by the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. He placed sixth in a field of 14 competitors in the pole vault with an ECAC qualifying mark of 4.55 meters. The performance by Hartman currently represents the best NJAC mark in the pole vault event this season and ninth best mark in all of NCAA Division III.
