Rogers becomes the second different Roadrunner to earn NJAC Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honors after traveling to New York City to compete at the Saturday Night at the Armory meet hosted by the New York Armory. She placed first in a field of 17 competitors in the triple jump with an ECAC and school-record leap of 11.94 meters. The performance by Rogers in the triple jump currently ranks as the best women’s NCAA Division III leap recorded in the event during the 2011-12 indoor season.
