Venturino earns NJAC Player of the Week honors after leading the Roadrunners to a 3-2 week of play while hitting .667 (14-for-21) with nine RBI, three doubles, and six runs scored. He hit safely in all five games, and opened up the week by going 3-for-4 with three hits, one run scored, and two RBI during a 17-1 victory over Lehman. Just one day later, he went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two hits, and two RBI during a 5-3 victory in game one against Montclair State. In game two, he went a perfect 4-for-4 with one double, one walk, four hits, and two RBI during the 4-3 defeat to the Red Hawks. He wrapped up the week by going a combined 5-for-9 with one double, one stolen base, five hits, four runs scored, and three RBI during a 13-6 victory and 10-2 defeat to Stockton. Venturino currently leads the NJAC in home runs this season (5).
